i just wanna ask 1 question....

How come when the 360 is outsells the ps3 towards the end of the year millions of PS3 IS DOOMED/DEAD threads are created, but when the ps3 outsold the 360 more than half of the year probably 2/3 you *xbox fans/fanboyz/ werent saying the 360 is dead/doomed

was it just to flame sony

or to be a fanboy

I think you didn't notice the 2-3 concurrent threads about how much the Xbox 360 sucked at the same time. But most of it was Rock_On's effort so really I would say the Sony members are being punished for the efforts of one member who has been permabanned since.

Most of the "PS3 getting owned" threads are actually created by PS3 fans.

If the PS3 beats the 360 the PS3 fanboys go nuts to, If it passed it in sales id but surprised but hell would break loose

by the way i'm one 360 fan (not fanboy) that has not made one doom thread...doubt i've even made comments in any of them...

...I have seen mostly Sony fans making the threads...Unless you count Benga Benga's offical one to stop those bloody threads...

Im a pretty higher up 360 fanboy or "lemming" on gamespot so ill answer this.

360 is growing the brand, being outsold by PS3 or not. ANd even though PS3 WAS  outselling 360 earlier this year, 360 still had 5 million+ more sold worldwide. How could 360 be doomed if its still 2nd place?

It surpassed Xbox lifetime sales in one year less time, PS3 cant say the same about its predessor.

Did you not notice the 360's lead over the PS3 at the time? I believe it didn't even go under the 360's lead when the ps3 launched.

But, with the current situation, it does seem like it's doomed. if the economy was different, the ps3 would be doing MUCH better.

But we knew MS was going to pull a price cut, I mean, how couldn't they? They could probably pull another price cut if they need to.
We *xbox supporters* back up our reasons with facts. I mean, 6 million lead... price cut incoming... and now, outselling the ps3 by over 300,000 a week in the holidays. even you have to admit the situation looks bleak for sony.

Even though Sony was tearing it up earlier this year, there were not as many threads about 360 being doomed as their is PS3. 360 fans were chomping at the bit to post that.

That's what happens in real life. There are an un-even number of fanboys so the more rabid ones post more for their console of choice, and makes the forum look lopsided.
