From the time you buy the console, is when the 3 year warranty goes into effect.

Yeah, the 360 po', as they call it, only costs $199 now.  Beware that it has longer load times, though, owing to the lack of a hard drive.

You should wait about a week or two and get an Xbox 360 with a lot number of 843..X or greater. FDOU or CSON. Thats Jasper, and the latest revision if you're concerned with reliability. They have been spotted out in the wild so pretty soon you should be able to pick on up anywhere.
