If the devs are ignorant enough to put this game on PSN, without knowing about this game sharing, they deserve it. If they, or Sony, were worried about becoming widespread, they would have done something about it.

If they become upset because people are doing this and Sony ENCOURAGES those people to do it, maybe XBox live would be their next choice. I won't stop doing it because there is nothing wrong with it. If Sony says I can do it, I will. If they say I can't, I'll stop.

That's completely wrong. Sony doesn't have the 5 game sharing system so your cheap asses could leech and trade games for free, they have it as a backup if your HDD or PS3 fails. Sony has NEVER encouraged trading games, all you guys are doing is taking advantage of the existing system, which in result screws over the developer of the game.

As for the "if Sony says so, then I'll stop" comment. If you're honest about it. PM me your PSNID and I'll report your name to them with proof (being on this forum). It's a violation in their terms and agreements to "share" games for the reasons of avoiding to buy them in the first place. I'd be more than happy to pull the trigger.

The issue here is that you think it's right, but it's not. You're joyfully screwing over the devs that made these games that you enjoy, and you assume that they "deserve" it.

But whatever, do what you wish. If Sony ever puts harsh restrictions on PSN games or have DRMs and stupid passkey retrictions, we'll all know who pushed first.

i used this with some of my friends, there are advantages and disadvantages

Here is the website where Tretton refers to this as an advantage for PS3 owners.

I trade/borrow Blu-ray games all of the time, but somehow I feel it would be wrong to trade PSN games. I think we should try to support Sony as much as possible now.

Thanks for the input, Jeff.

That interview is a contradictment within itself.

Read the agreement.

Users are not supposed to sell, trade, or distribute games much less give away their Online ID or access by/for any means.

The agreement says "Online ID" not PSN games. It states you cannot sell or trade your Online ID for any means through any form of PSN communication.

Oh, I didn't know you could "share" games without exchanging an Online ID.
