Just a question for the VGC-ers that are like me, and really like the Mech-Sim genre of games - Earth Siege, Mechwarrior, Heavy Armor, ect.
There's a new Mech game coming out soon, called Lore: Aftermath, which is based heavily off of the MechWarrior series. Although it's more multiplayer focused, on TDMs, CTFs and FFA matches in smaller arenas, it maintains a lot of what made the old Earthsiege/Mechwarrior games fun: Slow, lumbering mechs with massive amounts of firepower, and lots of customization.

Now, why care about this game?
The neat thing about Lore: Aftermath is that the game will be browser based on InstantAction.com. Better yet, if you've ever used IA before, you know that the PC requirements to play a game like this - even with 8 or 16 people online are very minimal - most crappy computers made within the past 3 years will be able to play this.
And the best part? The game will be free to play. Yes, that's right, free. Although there will most likely be extras you can buy with the game (more game plays/day, extra mech slots), the essential game, as per every IA game, is going to be free.
Are there any VGC-ers that may want to team up for a few games of this when it comes out to the public? I've played quite a few matches of this game, since I am in the Beta, and can certainly vouch that this game is very faithful to the old-school Mechwarrior2/Earth Siege universe of mech awesomeness.
