1) PS3 is quiet and XBox 360 DVD is very loud. You should consider keeping yourself and people around you away from this disturbing noise. Wrong, installing on the 360 makes it so quiet that it's equivilent of it not even being on at ALL. You don't even here the disk spin, because it doesn't.
2) BluRay is scratch resistant. You BluRay games collection will live longer then DVDs. Ouch, wrong again. Read above; disk doesn't spin, so cannot get scratched. Newer models don't scratch your disks like the launch ones did, anyway.
3) PSN is free. Even if you are short on money you can play games online ;) Arguable, most people seem to prefer paying for quality. Unless you're a cheapskate, the price isn't an issue. Cannot say you're "wrong" here though, this is arguable, especially on THIS site.
4) PS3 average lifespan is longer then XBox 360 average lifespan, so maybe you should play multiplatform games on PS3 and keep your 360 for exclusive titles, before it gives you RROD. Third strike, you're out troll! RROD is a thing of the past with newer models. On top of that, installing games makes no heat emit from your 360. Heat = RROD.

Dude, I am glad, that you got youself HDD drive for your 360, and that your drive is big enought so you do not use your DVD. It is really good to hear, that you never stratch your DVD disks and it is excelent, that you got yourself lates MS model of 360 and you confident that it will never show you RROD. Good for you buddy, still speak for yourself, and not for everyone.

As a non-biased, non-fanboy, and owner of both consoles, I'll give my honest take...
1) The loudness issue is very annoying on the old XBOX 360s, but the new ones (even when played straighted from the DVD-Drive) are actually real quiet... I won't say it's more quiet than a PS3, but the noise from the new drives is virtually silent.
2) I haven't tested the scratch resistant feature, but I am glad to know it's there should by 2 year old ever get a hold of one of my Blu-ray discs. Great feature.
3) I actually think that XBOX Live is a far superior online service to the PSN. Don't get me wrong, I love the concept of free (it's my favorite word) but I would be willing to pay for the PSN if it were a better service. XBOX Live is worth every penny I pay for it. Now, I do say this with a grain of salt, because the new PSN Home will be released soon, and it may very well change my tune to becoming a fan of the PSN. In the mean time though, XBOX Live is far greater.
4) My XBOX RROD'd on me (which is actually why I fell in love with my PS3 and I started playing games on it ironically enough) and it was highly annoying to me. In defense of Microsoft though, their tech support was very quick in getting my situation resolved. I literally got a brand new (not refurbished) console from Microsoft 1 week after I took it to the UPS store.
Long story short...
PS3 Strengths:
Blu-ray drive built in, and it's the best one (bar none) on the market
The PSN is free
Blu-ray discs are scratch resistant
The Sixaxis/DualShock is an awesome conroller for quick movements (for games such as the COD franchise) and is light weight.. plus hold the familiar feel of the previous two PlayStation console controllers
Console stability
Large variety of Bluetooth accesories available on the market
PS3 Weakness':
Battery built into the controller, and irreplacable in the middle of a game
The PSN is (at the moment) a very weak online service lacking features that I find important
High entry level console price
Spent the first year of its own life competing against its cheaper predecesor (the PS2) and came into the current gen fight later than the 360
XBOX 360 Strengths:
Superior online service in XBOX Live (especially with the addition of NetFlix movie streaming)
Controller great for games that require precise movements (due to the stiff analog sticks)
Entry level system is around $200.00, and the top of the line system is the same price as Sony's entry level system.
Accountability. The RROD was devistating, but it stepped up to the plate and took ownership of the problem, fixed it for free, and even extended the warranty by an additional 2 years.
Replaceable battery (which comes in handy in the middle of a game when it dies)
XBOX 360 Weakness':
RROD problem, they wouldn't have to show accountability if they had just released it the right way the first time (need I say more?)
Probably will have to be the first console in this generation that has to be replaced with a new generational console (e.g. XBOX 720)..
Horrible standard DVD player... makes movies look like trash in my opinion. I will go out on a limb and guess that it doesn't upconvert (and if I am wrong, MS shouldn't brag about its upconvert abilities because it sucks real bad).
Noise on the old models with the old DVD drive.
Those are just my opinions.
