Digimon is going down the path of power rangers and I don't like it.Don't like the sound of digimon season 14.The basic digimon idea is really good but their target audience is kids below teenage.That sucks.Its one of my fav shows but I wish it was handled by the likes of Akira Toriyama and Dattebayyo.It has much more potential than what their doing.Your comments?

By the way,wouldn't you prefer that they stick with one set of characters instead of changing em every season?What's ur best character set?I think mine's the original season 1 & 2 guys who've been recycled over and over again in new seasons.

Digimon was awesome, now it's getting ridiculous.

I loved watching Digimon until they got all new characters, I think in season 3, and stopped watching it after that.

THey were both childish,but pokemon was like barney.But guys,PLEASE this isn't a digimon vs pokemon thread!Are u guys saying that the main reason you left was because the characters changed?

The characters, the digimon, and the story line. Not going into the digi world or whatever.

My son loved it when he was 6-10 but he then did something that is quite normal...he grew out of it!!

As for power rangers that has to be the worst childrens program of all time, simply because of the violent and erratic behaviour amongst children that watch it.

I used to watch digimon season 1 was almost perfect,the others suck no offense to all of you digimon fans but season 2 is annoying. 3 was weird 4 is the a good show if it had nothing to do with digimon but since that's not the case it's the worst.5 feels like a rip off power rangers.The whole concept of kids lost on a island is awesome but the idea was executed well.Let's analyse each season:
Note:If you are going to watch the first season watch it on Japanesse with subs cause the english version has annoying sounds like hey digimon and stuff like that and it's also heavily censored I've watch digimon dubbed on spanish were there is nothing is censored.

Season 1:It had excellent character sthey were all awesome and their digimon
too you could add more violence and ecchi and this season would be perfect.

Season 2: One word to describe this season ANNOYING yolei bitch is annoying as hell,cody is also annoying and the whole season 2 is all about how digimon has feeliings an crap and that they don't want to kill them(I think the reason behind this is because there were critics towards the creators about killing digimon's)those idiots should know that digimon's don't die they are reborn on eggs you fags.Black war greymon sucks too he is like a mewton rip off saying stuff like why was I born or crap like that.Then there is not really a main villian and all the digi evolutions are garbage DNA evolution sucks.

Season 3: At the beggining I liked this season since now they killed digimon and they absorb them like data and they won't revive but later the season got too confusion and I think their enemy was a virus.In conclusion it was a step forward towards the franchise but it wasn't good enounght.Also alot of fanboys say that this season is worst than season 2 but that's wrong this one is better than 2.

Season 4: Everyone hates this season but I say that it's a mixed bag is not that bad I think it would be good if it wasn't a digimon show since it mainly focus on the characters there are no digimon partners still this season was a failure in the eyes of the makers and that's the reason why season 5 has fewer episodes than all the other seasons.

Season 5: I haven't watch this one except for a couple of episodes-I'll watch it subbed later but it's a bit boring the whole concept feels like power rangers and the art style is completely different from other seasons.

In conclusion one day someone should use the concept of kids in an island kinda like lord of the flies but with girls and use the art style of the first season and make something awesome.

Because the show changed, i mean wtf, people turning into digimons now?

Season 3 was odd but watchable. Season 4 no way, and i never saw season 5.

And i agree with the guy up there, digimon got emotion, pokemon is childish.
