Nintendogs (yes, its an amazing, if albiet a casual game)

Dragon Quest IV (takes my vote over FF III)

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow (much better than PoR)

Pokemon Diamond (great, apart from too much grinding :P)

Mario Kart DS (challenges are awesome, great multiplayer portable game)

Tingles Rosy Rupeeland (Wacky, unique, challenging - and awesome)
