I've had no issues with mine what so ever. While I'll admit I'm somewhat careful about it still, I was playing games in the first 100 hours (not recommended as the pixels aren't "worn in" yet) and haven't seem any signs of image retention.
Whlie I'll admit I'm not a marathon gamer, I've played games with HUDs on the screen for a 1-2 hours at a time without any problem, and if you are a marathon gamer, it will do you some good to get off the couch for a few minutes while you turn off the set or run something different on the screen anyway 
Also remember that "burn-in" on plasmas isn't permanent except in severe cases. If you do get minor image retention, just running some tv on the screen will clear it up from the reports I've read.
