I have been moaning about the GeoW 2 MP for a while now due to balancing issues, and while I have enjoyed a few of my king of the hill matches, they were still not that great, and I still felt that the balance was off (I had gotten over half my kills from the chainsaw). However, I tried horde, and it is incredible!

Because you are playing against the computer, it doesn't have the problem where people are impossible to kill (I think I was playing on normal difficulty) and even without that much co-ordination we did well, and it was challenging for the most part. It is quite tough, and we died on wave 16, but I think some people had given up, though I couldn't quite hear what everyone was saying, it did degenerate to some faggot calling...

Anyway, it was much better than I expected, and I strongly encourage you to give it a go if you haven't, it does truly deserve that spot on the main menu, it is that good. It also comes with the added bonus of booting my stats on Gears of War.com!

Never try what me and my friend did it was me and him on hard we got level 10....then I got taken down by 3 tickers coming after me >_>

I invited you to play, and you should have excepted. My only gripes are that either it will lag/the host will quit, or my team will just suck.

Last week I got to level 38 on a public match. It was intense meeting people for the first time and coordinating that well over the mic. We only had 4 people as well. Very nice mode. Make friends with the shields.

I had quite a decent team, though there were those who were noticeably better than others. I ended up second on my team as well! Which I am very happy with

Twesterm, it's really not my fault. For example, I just played a game where seconds before posting this where 2 of the players died in Round 1, and we lost in Round 2. I know my rank is low, but must I be paired up with such awful players?

i'm yet to play horde, as soon as i got the game i went straight to online matchmaking. i did a fraction of the story too.
