I noticed the UK price of £18 on Play, it hasn't been out that long at all.

There's always Star Ocean The Last Hope(even though S-E are just publishing it)

ill pass... my next jrpg purchase is SOTLH..getting gears2 2day:)

Playing Assassin's Creed and Resident evil 5 <3

I dont want to be fanboy anymore...Why? it takes to much work but i will call on ppl on there B.S!!!:)

Play's price is tempting, but there have just been too many reports about framerate issues, and I don't have room to install {its soooo good playing without that fan!!! for GeoW 2 even if the load times aren't that much better}. I also don't have time atm

I don't understand 2 things:

1. Why has this been labelled a bomb when its 1st week was greater than NfS Undercover (PS3)?

2. How could IGN give it 5.3 (though I haven't bothered to read their review) when it has had decent user feedback? I think IGN is just trying to balance out trying to give MGS 4 an 11

1. yeah ppl expect JRPG to sell like FPS but in reality they hardly do, LO is the most selling JRPG on consoles so far... even that had smart marketing. LR not so much

2. even more proof ppl should avoid reviewers like the plague.XD

We only expect the ones from S-E to sell but S-E are lazy with their marketing sometimes. They wanted to make a game that would appeal to Western and Japanese gamers but they forgot to hype and market the game in the West.

I also saw that but only after seeing it for £24.99 in GameStation, that's a high street store.

Hmm, pie.

So cheap...so soon?

From my understanding, Amazon may have ordered too many copies of TLR. TLR was $39.99 well before the game even came out - which is rather odd, but they may have over-estimated, and then backed down due to IU underperforming.

I would think that retailers are supposed to stick to the MSRP due to publisher fees. How could they sell TLR for $39.99 at launch? Isn't that probably what they bought the title for? No profits?

It's strange to see a new 360 game costing as much as a new ps2 game. These prices make me want to get a 360 arcade because it's really the JRPGs on 360 I want to play. I could even do without paying for xbox live.

No idea how Amazon could manage $40 at launch, and drop it to $30 within a mere week. There were a few games I saw very insane prices on, such as Sonic Unleashed...The Force Unleashed has also seen major price reductions, which is odd given the fact that it sold well.

I'd certainly reccomend getting a X360 for the back-catalog of JRPGs. Even though reviewers have derided the majority of them, I'm certain you'd enjoy the majority of them at least for a little bit. Even if they aren't groundbreaking, the fact is....Every JRPG can be purchased for $20-$40 except for Tales of Vesperia....Brand new.

Citing Amazon for pricing (which is insanely cheap BTW...I may start buying my missing JRPGs from Amazon next year - like Spectral Force 3):

Blue Dragon $26.99 - New
Eternal Sonata $20.74 - New
Phantasy Star Universe $39.99 - New (wtf?)
Enchanted Arms $19.96 - New w/ Comic Book
Lost Odyssey $37.99 - New
Kingdom Under Fire: CoD

$29.49 - New

Infinite Undiscovery $18.95 - NEW
The Last Remnant $29.95 - NEW
Spectral Force 3 $19.96 - New
Operation: Darkness $29.99 - New
Zoids Assault $29.96 - New
Tales of Vesperia $56.99 - New

Pretty good list. The 360 JRPG library keeps improving. If the ps3 doesn't gain more than 5 JRPGS next year I'll probably buy a 360. It'll be even cheaper too. Use my 360 for JRPGs then play online with my ps3---pretty slick!

1. It's a bomb because it's an SE game that is selling like crap despite already being discounted.  Plus it has inexcusable technical issues that should have resulted in a delay of its release.

2. User feedback is completely useless.  Alot of people will vote without even owning the game.  Others will give it a high score just because they spent money on it.
