Forums - Sony - 'Gran Turismo PSP' Is Still Coming

According to an interview made by IGN,  Gran Turismo PSP is still in development.  Here is what was said, as told by G4:

All good things come to those who wait.

Head of Polyphony Digital, Kazunori Yamaguchi, promises that Gran Turismo PSP “is moving forward. It hasn’t been knocked off the plans: it’s there.”

This is long four years after Sony teased us with GT PSP, announcing back then at their E3 Sony press conference that we were going to do some open wheeled auto racing with our thumbs.  

Since then, the game has been repeatedly delayed with its completion pushed back.  Fans have not seen any demos, no trailers, no screenshots, heck, not even a paid-for preview.

Mr. Yamaguchi’s clipped answer of “it’s there,” is certainly better than “it’s crashed.”

So we continue to wait..:

Better yet its coming just like Shenmue 3. Even if its still coming it will not come out before Gran Turismo 5 does.

well if i remember sony or some polyphony digital guy said GT portable will be psp launch title - now we have to only figure out which psp.

good grief... i would rather them just get GT5 out the door or give us a firm date rather than talk about what is or might be down the line.

i'd rather them work the car damage in but turn it off and then open it up as DLC once they get all/some of the manufacturers to sign off.

gimme the full GT5 release already!

you know what  when i bought my psp this was reason to get a psp in the 1st place, now i totally forgot about dis game now

That will be the day, I'd definitely buy it if it comes out but it would definitely rank behind such games as Lunar 3 or Shenmue 3 of "wanted" games that will never be released if that should happen
