a few days after nintendo's press conference, miyamoto let it slip that they are working on a pikmin.

this is all good and well and all, but latter, there was another announcement about nintendo porting gamecube games to the wii and addig wii controls, and posiblt new fetures, and pikmin 1 @ 2 was on the list.

do we actually have concrete proof from anywhere that they are also working on a new pikmin game as well as the ports?

Yes. The lady who does their marketing now (name escapes me) said in an interview that the remakes are different than Pikmin 3. Rest easy, friend.
