Well, why wouldn't procedurally generated content be enough? I mean, the primary difference between levels in shooters is enemy types and placement, and you get that every single time you play Left 4 Dead.

I'm still going to get this game... in fact, it is becoming a little hard to get as of now. best buy only had 1 copy, wal-mart had none. target had 2.... this game is selling well compared to others.

This is an online game. And just in case you didn't know, you can play as the zombies, effectively doubling the 20 levels of gameplay. And expert in the most fun mode of them all, so you keep replaying to beat that mode, at least in my opinion anyway.

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... The demo got boring...fast.

This is news guys, the game single-player is kinda lacking. Just like Counter-Strike, Unreal Tournament, or Team Fortress! Do not touch this game at all just like those others listed. You may get aids, cancer, and ebola all at the same time if this happens. You've been warned.

Seriously now, this game is by far the GOTY of 2008. Even if each level takes you about an hour that still adds up to about 20 hours.

well yea its 1.5 levels and you cant play the monsters... of cousre you cant play it to many times... then again i played it probably 20 times with different friends and to check out everything.

Poor guy just did not read the IGN review did he? "Valve has moved against convention and delivered a game that is built almost entirely around cooperative multiplayer action. Sure, there is a single-player mode that lets you play through the game with bots, but that feels like practice." Taken from the review of L4D... wow he lied to him self. HAHA you fail sir.
