i was just wondering if the games for the 360 are region free. I have got a German Xbox360, a German HDTV and I want to have some Black Friday Deals.

If it depends on the game, how can I see which game is playable?

Please help me out. THANKS!

NO it is not region free if that was the case I already would have import Tales of Vesperia.

the 360 isnt, but some games are. you have to google for the games with compatibility.

@konnichiwa - yes, ToV is one of these games with region code.. :(

(but this should only be necessary for german games, not consoles.)

Try looking at play-asia.com to see if the game you want is there and then try to get one from the U S of A.

All those SHMUPs that Japan is getting are not region free. I am one fo the people that would pay 50 dollars for a copy of a game that lasts 3 hours...yet I can't.

Seems kind of silly Microsoft...
