Why does my monitor only go up to 1024x when hooked to mah comp but when i hook it up to my xbox 360 it can go up to 1050,help?

Why is this a problem? It likely has something to do with overscan.

Are you saying that your monitor supports 1024x768, but your 360 will run at 1440/1600x1050? What type of monitor do you have?

no 1280 x 1024 on PC and on 360 its 1980 x 1050 i think.

Not 1920x1080? I would imagine it's be very scaled and would look odd as it's gone from 16:9 to 4:3

What make and model of monitor are you using?

Might not be 1920x1050,but its 1050 i know that.

I think it is 4:3 just thats what i looks like,the top and bottom are black and its about a inch thick.
