Last year PES sold some 131K first week on the PS3 ...so 94K first day isnt bad ,just the contrary .

it didn't bomb. 10-20k in the week is bomb. just look at the shipments, selling almost 50% isn't bad at all.

PES PS3 sold almost 50 percent of shipment.

So it's not too bad either.  >_>

Not suprising imho considering this year Fifa is probably better game for a first time in years.

Fifa doesn't sell in Japan so I think that had no effect on the sales of PES.

Last year PS3 games were more frontloaded ,and managed some 75% of the first week sales in the first day.Now they still are but less ,theres usually a 60%-40% between first day and first week.PES2009 on the PS3 could outsell PES2008.

Well, bundles aren't usually included in first day sales, but excluding new PS3 owners then less bought it day one this year than last. Last year's was the first on PS3 though, so maybe that would make it more front loaded. People who already own last year's may not be in as much of a rush to purchase day one as they were last year. First week sales should give a better idea on how front loaded it is compared to last year.
