I love GTA4 and I completed it 100%. I thought it was great, and an improvement over San Andreas, to be honest. But hey, to each their own.
(And before you call me a graphics whore, please note that my favorite current-gen console is the Wii)

i totally agree 100% on what you said im glad Rockstar went with the realistic approach if they kept the same forumla form last gen, it would be a joke. san andreas is fun and all but standards change as time goes on, and rockstar hit right in the head with gta4.

Its better than SA with lots of features removed?
Sure its realistic and Realistic > non realistic, but they took alot of features out and didnt really add any in.

I thought San Andreas had way too much... What's the word... Micromanaging? You know, with all the building muscle and learning karate and all that stuff. Improving skills in different vehicles by driving them for longer, etc. I also thought that San Andreas had far too much "dead space" in it's world.
San Andreas was a fine game, I suppose, but GTA4 was a massive improvement ... In my opinion, of course.
I prefer SR2 aswell but it is not loved that much two days after the game released the secondhanded stores were flooded with SR2 copies.
