Listen, all three (not including PC because it doesn't count*) game systems have their fair share of trolls. Although, it's true sony fans are far more hostile. This is demonstrated by just visiting the sony forum.
I think the reason is: their system is in last place, so they have to lash out.
also, another reason you don't see alot of trolling "x360 is the best all others suck"
threads like the ps3 versions, is because there aren't alot of x360 fans on this site to begin with.
Now nintendo fans.... Well, I don't really have a problem with any of them except the ones who think their console is all rainbows and sunshine. But this is just my based on my opinion, i guess.
And... pc fans.. I think there are two of them, but they act all high and mighty all the time, even when they compare a real next gen system with their custum built PC and they have never tried a ps3/x360.
I preference is for mouse/keyboard controls, but give me a break.. extreme fandom can go too far.

you can't insult someone if you're stating the truth. Moderators are just as human as the people that post, sucseptible to the same biases and opinionated decisions. I had one thread axed, by an obvious PS3 fan, sent them an email about it and they reversed the ban. So, yeah, they have a 'god button' and occassionaly some of them use it in a preferential way.

 

lol Montana isn't a PS3 fanboy.

And you're going to find fanboys wherever you go that do silly irrational thing.  I find it best just to ignore them as much as possible.

Last week i caught a thread saying how the PS3 can run 480fps. So.... no... i don't take the site too seriously but it's those types of posts and the people that make them that are turning the PS3 into a absolute joke.

First off, please go ahead and ask anyone here -- I'm not a PS3 fan.  I have one and I'm pretty vocal about how I'm upset with the selection of games (but do think it's an awesome media player).

Now that silly bit is over with, you have to know when someone is making a joke, making a fun thread, and making a serious thread.

That thread really did have something running at 480fps at some insane resolution but anyone who actually *read* the thread knew nobody would do that.  You really are one of the problems in that you take everything way too seriously.

Stop, slow down, take a deep breathe, and just enjoy your consoles.  If you someone being a twit, ignore them.  If they're being disruptive to the site, report them.  It's pretty simple to survive here. 

 

And now that I've read the whole thread, it isn't going anywhere.  Sorry to hit my God button, but I don't think anyone will miss this thread.

The 'what if they both cost the same' argument is pointless...you can say that about anything dearer with more features standard, of course it would sell better. That 'what if' scenario then should make the 360 have all the same features standard as the PS3 - Blu-ray, wifi, cell...then it goes off brand reputation, controller preference and online differences.

 That's exaclt the point... YOU ARE WHATS WRONG WITH THIS SITE! You knew it was 4 and it clearly stated 4. I didn't see anyone claim it was one Ps3... but you are making it seem like we all said Ps3's can all run in 480fps... come on dude. I wasn't the one twisting anything you were.

Anyway the reason why I laughed at you at first is because you are so accusing. The person you accused of being a ps3 fanboy owns a 360 and no ps3... another point why your generalising is stupid logic.

where exactly in your initial response did you clarify that it was 4 ps3's. you didn't. and you know why... cause you're pissed off that the 360 is trampling it right now and any little thing that can garner some attention for the PS3...whether it be true, false or exaggerated seems to be fine with you guys. yeah, i knew it was four because i read the post.. got swindled by it's heading..(which pisses me off).. but when i threw it back up there you sure didn't go out of your way to clarify for anyone reading this thread it was in fact 4 ps3's. you would have never said a thing about it, had i not pointed it out in my response. and once again... that is what's really starting to bug me about you PS3 guys. you're more than happy to stretch truths, outright lie about stuff.... that doesn't make your console look good in my eyes. i mean, if you need to do those things to make the PS3 look like a worthy contender to the 360........ than it really isn't.
