| ItsaMii said: If HS reviews stated it sucks, fanboys would join forces and start several "the PS3 is doomed" threads. It is so easy (and pathetic IMO) kicking a wounded man lying on the floor. This is getting old, everyone wants to take potshots on the PS3. A lot of Nintendo fans (like myself) have some hatred from the N64 and GC days and that still do not mean we can do the same as some trolls had done in the past. The worst part is that even some fanboys that are in a situation similar to Sony fans *cough - RROD - cough* feel that they have the right to bully PS3 onwers. Even so I think that some of the Sony fanboys deserved the whole "Lair got low scores" incident. HS and Lair were hyped like they were the Halo or SSBB of this generation when they were just exclusive PS3 games. I do not expect them to suck, but fanboys tried to put those titles on the same level of MGS4 and FFXIII. Expectations were too high. |
NO actually it wasn't the fanboys who hyped it up that way. It was the Previewer. If you ever read a preview of any of the games then you can see why they are as hyped up as they are. These games the type of games that anyone would want to play and each one brings a tru next gen feel as most games on 360 and PS3 so far has only showed next gen FPS feel. In most genres of next gen gaming hasn't seen tru experiances. and these ps3 games shows alot of promise.
Much like how Super mario Galaxy and Ratchet and Clank Future are to set the Bar on platforming games this fall.
Blue Dragon will be first to set bar for Next gen JRPG'S
Heavnaly sword will be the first Action game with deep combo/fighting system for nextgen statndards
LAIR/Warhawk will be the first Flight Sim / Arial game
Gears set the bar for third person Shooters
Resistance set the bar for FPS
Oblivion set the bar for WRPG's
Forza 2 set the bar for racing Sims.
