There is no more RROD on newer models, the chances are SLIM to none, and thats with keeping it in an extremely unventilated area.

As an extra bonus, storing games on our HDD let's the 360 run forever with no hot air coming out from it, and the disk doesn't even spin, it's just quiet as hell. How can we get RROD (caused by the hot air) when there is none? ;)

Nope RROD is always gonna be there, lmao theres ToNS of vids on youtube of elites and new 360's all getting it, and you wanna know the best part is that when you send it in to get "fixed" they send you another one that is just as bad because it got the RROD before... Don't waste your money

You get a 3 Year warranty and if it does get the RROD say a year or even two years later, they send you another 360 that come with yet another 3 year warranty.

I had an 06 360 that I sold to my brother in law, it got the RROD in August, he sent it out, got it back in 10 days and is quiet so noise free that it's quieter then mine.

Also when he got the 360 back it had an (August 2008) date on it but without the HDMI hookup because the one he sent in didn't have it to begin with.

No. I need games. THe price is nice and it seems like the failure rate has dropped quite nicely. Pay for online keeps me down on it, and only 2 of the games really appeal to me.

Just for the record though.... I most likey won't buy it ever.....

If I hadn't won one at launch I'd probably be thinking about picking one up. As it is though, I use my PS3 every day and my 360 about once a month? If that. I also live in fear that it will RRoD on me since it is a launch system and may not be covered by the 3 year warranty as it was a prize. 3 years is up pretty soon too so.... Yeah, I'll most likely buy one cheap when this one dies.

This is the ONLY thing keeping me from buying that great console, the 360 is a solid gamig device in my opinion to own, but its the RROD that is still keeping me from buying the arcade model.

Also whats this about a 20 dollar HDD thing?

And i dont care how much the chances has gone down, knowing me i'd most likely get the damn thing even if the chances were 00.01%....

And truth be told it really hasnt went down it still pops up left and right so...
