Sony have messed up this gen - I say 360 winning - MS are too hungry for Sony. IMO...MS are either acting desperate with all the business moves they`ve made or they are very clever. Either way MS are the ones calling the shots and Sony is (or mostly isn`t) just responding.

I don't think MS cares about catching up to the lost lead this year. If they can regain some of those losses and head into the holiday season with a bigger momentum, they'll be happy, since that momentum will carry into 2009. That should give them a good start to 2009, which is beneficial.

For the most part Xbox360 has quite a few more deals on black friday than the ps3 does. So I am guessing Bfriday week the 360 will more than double sales of the PS3.

Will this be enough to help the 360 catch up entirely? I don't know but either way there shouldn't be more than a 150-200k difference.

Another thing could happen, and that is Wii shortages. If there are not enough Wii's to go around it would almost certainly push the 360 ahead of the PS3 this year.

Black F week should be interesting. Japan will still be high due to TLR, Others should stay the same and America will go crazy for the 360 with all those deals.
