Fable 2 is the only game this gen that I was really interested in enough to finish.

no if you get bored playing a full game all the way through in one sitting he should pick maybe say 4 games and rotate them till they are all finished. If one is finished before the others put that aside and pull out another game.

I'm never gamed out (money or interest wise) after I decided I better finish the game I bought before buying the next one.

By then most games you wanted also dropped in price and you can fully rage on them on a internet forum because you played through it.

I miss the days when it just was work, beer and games.

I do this.  I have 2 games per system I rotate through and I change games every free night, but I still get bored.  The only game I've perma put on the "not gonna finish" pile is GTA4.  My lack of interest might also be related to the fact that I work 70 hour weeks sometiems and fall asleep after I take a shower.

Of my collection, 80% is finished/relatively finished. The other 20% are what I'm working on now, gotta be done in a month.

i have had MGS4 for like 4 months and have yet to play it...

Got hooked on Oblivion... then I got hooked on COD4 then Diablo2...
