Agreed.
Wii is popular because grandparents want their grand kids to come visit them and parents want their kids to be happy. It's also a good party game when people organize gathering.

Average consumer is not as dumb as u think.
US$249 is not a small amount,
there are simply not that much of dumbass out there to make Wii the fastest selling console in history.
There is always more Toyota on the street than Ferrari.
But i don't see Ferrari driver rant on forum complaining that Toyota sux?
Or how dumb Toyota drivers are coz they give in to fad!
If u still think Wii owners are dumb,
u r on the wrong side of history.
Gaming history will remember Wii as another huge breakthrough in gaming tech,
yes u heard me correct - Gaming tech. Clever use of mass market technology
that deliver great experience.
