I got some friends which are obssess with that game.Once a friend played for 24 hours and he told me that he was sad because he wasn't able to play long enough. There was this kid at my school who almost fainted for playing that game too much.

Anyway, I played MapleStory for a few hours, just barely got off the tutorial island and it took so long to get off of it, and I was so bored by the time I did finally get off of it, that I never played the game again. I'm not sure what it's like when you progress more in the game, but I heard the class system is cool. Make sure you research the classes and find the best one for you, you don't want to regret that choice later on.

One word of advice for ya: DON'T start playing that game. I've wasted lots of opportunities to do other ''constructive'' stuff in my life because of it, and I lost a dear friend too. I, sadly, introduced him to the game and he just couldn't stop playing. He used to go at my place, thinking he could get a chance to play it once and a while. Once he got a computer, it was all over.

It's been 2 years now and he's still playing that fricking game! Maple Story is the devil, stay away from it.

Meh, I got bored of it in a few hours. Same with WoW, Oblivion, and any sandbox game.

I heard from a friend who used to play it that the game was excellent but the customer service was atrocious. If not for the customer service, he would probably still be playing. I'm not confirming anything (I haven't played it myself), but you might want to look into that before you play and get all addicted.

Customer service? For a free game?

I have a lvl 68 on that game. Took 6 months. I had to stop cold turkey. That game was eating my life away.

Oh god no, just terrible.

It's art style is very captivating, but under all the colors is the same old crap, litterally, if you've played just about any other mmo no matter if it was a side scroller, 3d or over head this game is like them, it's ambition ended at being a side scroller.

Like any other MMO, it's just a festival of grinding.
