FFXIII is using the White Engine on PS3. Not sure about the 360 port, of course since it's a port of the PS3 version I would assume the 360 version will be on the same engine. FF Versus XIII is using a specific engine designed only for PS3, part of the reason it's remaining PS3 exclusive.

FFversusXIII is using the unreal engine which is multiplat - also supports x360. As for FFXIII it's using their crystal tools which supports both ps3 and x360.

You are wrong here. They both use the same engine, previously called White Engine and later renamed to Crystal Tools. It is a multiplatform engine which supports PC, PS3, X360 and Wii. Rapture (their new MMO) is also being developed with it, and so most likely will KH3, regardless of the platform.

As Rei said, only The Last Remnant is using the Unreal Engine 3.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

"YES!" for the footage and "Ughh.." for selling a trailer. I can't wait to see the footage that has long been awaited for.

Anyway LOL at the people saying SE is going bankrupt. I sure do hope so! XD

If Versus were running on the Unreal Engine, I'd lose all faith in the game.

Welcome to Japan people.

They sell everything and charge for everything.

Anime Blu-Ray/DVD sell only 2 episodes for disc for example.

Sure, we find it bizarre, but that how Japan is. Not just Square.

Wow....just wow. Wrong.....

SE have become a sad company.

That is the sad truth.

Taking for example your avatar of Code Geass. 9 dvd were released for all Season 1 on Japan.

The first DVD only had ONE episode, while the rest had 3. Monthly releases.

The re-release on Blu-Ray had 2 episodes, 3 at most. Depends on the volume.

R2 is the same.

There are discs with less than an hour of content

http://www.amazon.co.jp/s/ref=nb_ss_gw?__mk_ja_JP=%83J%83%5E%83J%83i&url=search-alias%3Ddvd&field-keywords=Code+Geass&x=0&y=0

So... who can blame Square for selling one hour long trailers on DVD?

THATS how Japan works... what is sad is all the people here bashing Square when it seems they do not know how Japan works...

Ah... did I mention they charge 5500 yen for a 2 episode blu-ray disc? How much is it... according to the latest conversion... about 60 dollars. Yes, 60 fricking dollars for 2 episodes of Code Geass. Again... that is Japan.

Whoa, did i miss something?
