Seriously though, we're nearing the halfway point of this generation. When are we going to stop calling these consoles "next-gen"? Will they finally become current gen when the real next-gen consoles get on the market?

 

Well, DMJ finally took the dive into next gen with the purchase of a Playstation 3 Computer Entertainment System and rid him of his crapbox 3fixme and crappy kiddy Wii. He is just reaching salvation through truly Playing B3yond. That is why he refering it as next-gen.

Please don't say that word here. It has been banished from usage at VGChartz. We just don't want to deal with the innacuracies in their numbers.

Give me a real, well thought out argument on why Valkyria Chronicles should be considered, because I honestly just can't see it. I'm sorry, but I can't.

 

 

Probably has to do with the fact that you haven't played it. 

Since it's in my opinion the best SRPG ever made I don't see why it wouldn't have a very good shot at RPG of the year.  It has a unique combination of real time tactics and turn-based strategy that's not found in any other game on the market.  The story is also quite good, the music beautiful, and the art, needless to say, breathtaking.  I'd like to know what RPG you think is more deserving?

Actually there is one game that comes close.  Though the "returning fire" isn't covered.   Was an old multiplatform game last generation no one bought.
