While not stellar, the 360's performance has improved in Japan compared to, say, last year. 360 still has some high profile Japanese games coming out for it, most notably The Last Remnant and Star Ocean 4. Will this be enough to push 360 to 1 million Jap in early/mid 2009? Sorry if something like this has been posted before.

All depends on how much TLR pushes sales next week. I think 35k has been the biggest rise lately? might be wrong. I think 40k plus is on the cards.

Depends on when Microsoft releases the Slim 360 and what game it releases with...

Best case scenario is just after Star Ocean launches (late Feb, early Mar). Worst case is mid-2009.

But it's more plausible for it to be March or April, thanks to the great sales the X360 has had this year. It's already surpassed 2007's YTD sales as of this week, and still has another 100,000 units it could sell if TLR does well to move hardware.

I have not seen this weeks numbers for the 360 in japan.
