If i had 8000$ i would buy one huge ass mo fuggin T.V for the 360 and not on some super fast alien tech comp

I agree! I'd buy a freakin 60+ inch high def TV!!! Hook up my PS3/360 and play the way gaming was meant to be!!

I would do the same, only I would connect a PC and play it at 1080p, 60hz, tripple buffered, Vsync with 8x AA. The way games a really really meant to be played.

Yea, perhaps see if the Physix additions to Mirror's Edge on the PC are worth the delay. Even better on that TV!

I'm pretty sure you can build a $2000 dollar PC from current newegg.com parts that will perform just as well as this PC.

Why in the world does this PC need a solid-state HDD? If you were really concerned with the HDD read speed bottleneck you could get away with a much cheaper 10,000RPM HDD instead. Also 12GB of RAM is overkill, unless you plan on running a slideshow and have 15 IE windows running at the same time as Crysis.

You could do a hell of a lot more than that. I know someone who plays COD4 on their workstation all while running two virtual machines.

12gb of ram would be useful in a video or photo editing environment though.

Why spend a crapload of money on a car? Some people just want the very best.

When you invest in a car and keep it in good condition for long enough, it can gain value. Not so for PC builds.

Absolutely true.

I recently saw an old SGI workstation from the mid 90s going for $12 on Craigslist. That same workstation was over 9 grand new.

Ewww...

THIS is what I would get:

http://www.engadget.com/2008/09/29/carl-zeiss-powerdomevelvet-planetarium-projector-2-500-000-1-c/

Hook it up to my beastly PC and play UT2004 in all its 1200p, larger than life (or any TV you could buy), adrenaline pumping, bloody glory. I once hooked up my computer to our non-HD projector back home, HOOOLY SH*T, TV's can't step on the small toe of even a cheap projector, much less an HD one (with 1200p native resolutoin nontheless!).

@Grey Acumen

That's false, I bet you I can sell my grandfather's extremely well kept 8-bit computer, in all it's green blob glory, for a VERY nice price to someone out there.
