btw, to let outsiders know, TecToy developed some Master System and Mega Drive (Genesis) games, and even made a quiz game more recently (2000's I think).. for the Mega Drive! and they currently sell Master System and Mega Drives here, for what is now about ~100 dollars. and they profit from it, so I think that they want to replace MS and MD with "better games".
and they also will start with Brazil but plans to release it in other "3rd world" countries
with that said, as much as it sounds cool to have a Brazilian company developing a console, they will have a tough time against modded PS2 :P

Wow, this thing reminds me of...
The PS3 because of how it looks.
The Wii because the controller is basically the Classic Controller.
The 360 because it has credits for stuff, similar to MS points.
All i can say at the moment is, that the company will make good money with it. Well, atleast if the games are playable. If it's dirt cheap and marketed in poor 3rd world countries that have working internet connections.
Anyway, iQue apparently was somekind of a success to Nintendo, so judging by that, this could have a similar shot.
