Forums - Website Topics - Who likes the site makeover?

All things Wii have been white with light blue and light gray. Think light up disc drive.

But that's just Web 2.0ish in general, its not specifically Wiiish.

"[Our former customers] are unable to find software which they WANT to play."
"The way to solve this problem lies in how to communicate what kind of games [they CAN play]."

Satoru Iwata, Nintendo President. Only slightly paraphrased.

eh not a huge make over at least i can't tell by first glance....

So IGN is Wii biased because blue is their main color? :P

I like the makeover, look cool

Looks good overall, but the google ads on the main page in the most recent threads part and the news spot is bad. Plus sometimes i get the talking laptop add at the bottom of the page and that drives me nuts. And the ads in the middle of threads are bad too. But everything else is good. All we need is the full data for all the games and systems and the site will be the best.

The main IGN site was blue before the Wii was even called the Wii.

The IGN site has a different color scheme for each console.

I thought the Wii's colors were white and a bright blue light. Oh, and the PS3 should be black, because the system is black and it sold 6 million(doesn't this sound stupid, -ioi, I am joking).

Site looks awesome. This is becoming my favorite site. Too bad, because I just spent 17-19.95 to get "insider" info. (this sounds kinda stupid to, who pays for gaming news? Oh I really did. :( )

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

Love it.

I didn't know that blue was the Wii colour scheme. All Wii stuff is grey so how does that work? Is every other blue site biased towards Wii as well?

I'm not having a go at your mother (or even at you lol - sorry) but I think you are clutching at straws suggesting that using blue is Wii-biased!!

Clutching at straws: meaning that people who feel desperate will try anything, even if it's unlikely to help.

How am I clutching at straws?

What you are saying about every other blue site being biased towards the Wii is absurd (could be a baby products site or an insurance site, or could have had a blue scheme well before the Wii was even revealed as a console), but there is a difference between their sites and yours: Yours is a games-related site that attracts all kinds of gamers, including fanboys from all sides.

I'm not saying that it's intentional, but I would've thought that the SDF and Xbots would have said something by now. Besides, I still feel that gray looked better.

Anyway...

You changed the color in the sub navigation - it's more legible now.

Front page looks, old.

The site looks much cleaner. Very nice!
