I'm not sure which will offer a better gaming experience , a bigger TV or a smaller TV with better audio.

Unfortunatley the speakers i'd get with the 22" don't have optical outs and i understand that won't give me true surround sound, is there any way I can get "true" surround sound without spending the cost of another TV ?.

Thoughts ?

32". the difference between 22 and 33 is HUGE! You always upgrade by buying a sound system. If you buy a 22 inch, it is never going to grow ten inches.

@Perppride Yeah true , it's just i've seen and heard alot about how "true" surround sound adds to the gaming experience.

I'm willing to sacrifice some visuals for good audio but then i'm not sure a whole 10 inches is worth sacrificing for surround sound.

THe viewing distance is going to be about 8-12 feet is 32 Inch too big for this distance ?

I have to agree with everyone here, especially perpride. A bigger television is the way to go. You really won't regret having a larger picture to look at.
