What is going on..I just downloaded the free-five maps and now I cant search for games...any advice?

Xbox Live is overloaded right now. I kept getting kicked off Live last night while playing Co-Op and had a hard time logging back in. That might have something to do with it.

There's a problem in the matchmaking system .. the issue is being discussed at Epic's official forum right now so it should get fixed soon.

Matchmaking is being bogus right now. I was just playing Halo 3 like 45 mins ago and had to get off because we couldn't find any games. We also couldn't join friends parties or join private chats.

I am so gad to see this thread.
I am after been having major hassles on with gears 2.

first thing was screen going blank when I would press start.

Then it was happening when I tried to log on to live.

I eventually got back to normal and now everything is ok (fingers crossed).

Anyway judging by this thread there is obviously some problems and it is not the console.

I have been trying to play Gears all day, but I haven't been that successful, it takes like an hour to find a game, and then it is usually laggy
