I'll add everyone on the 1st post.

I am finding it hard to get my town to a perfect rating. I either have too many or not enough trees in certain areas. I wish it was like the GCN version which had the town layout like A 1 or whatever, and they told you where the problem areas are located at. Oh well just takes a little longer getting everything perfect. I think I planted too many trees in wrong locations at first. I'll update the list and add my other character to the list since my main has the f list full.

Hey, what does a golden shovel do? In the Cube and DS versions it randomly dug up 100-bell bags, but the one I have now just looks cool.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

You can bury bells and possibly make money trees with the golden shovel (can only plant money trees with the golden shovel). You can only get a max of 30,000 x 3 = 90,000 bells from a money tree so it is best to plant around 30,000-50,000 or so (I usually just stick with planting 30,000). The more bells you plant the higher chances it has to produce bells. Best way to get a money tree is to chop down a current tree with axe and plant a money tree in it's place so you are guaranteed that it will grow. It isn't guaranteed to produce bells though but at least it won't die the next day being planted in a wrong spot. I haven't planted one yet and I just blew through my 2 axes chopping trees down and forgot about it. I'll probably plant a 30,000 one next week.
