Its said reason for cancellation was a financial decision. This is so sad. The producer of the show is preparing for a ultimate bash so madTV can go out with a bang! This is still sad and unfortunately we can all say we saw this coming. SNL is now the only sketch show left.

GOODBYE MADTV

I saw this show a couple of times and foud it ok. Some sketches are good, some are bad and some are atrocious. just like SNL.

The one with Ashlee Simpson and her father killing her was pretty funny.

@marciosmg, the first five years were the best seasons. The last good season was the 10th season. They lost a lot of good cast members after the tenth season. Last season they lost Michael McDonald. He was the guy that played that Stuart character. They lost a lot of viewers during the time Tina Fey was playing Sarah Palin on SNL every week.

Yeah. This McDonald was by far the best one in the group. Him leaving must have been quite a blow.

Miss Swan was the absolute best character MADtv ever had. =]

I think he has The Kids in the Hall confused with Boyz n the Hood

They barely used him last couple of years.

The show has been going downhill for a long time, not too surprised since it took them a while for a decision on last season.
