Price and friends are important. That is part of the reason I bought 360 over PS3.
But when it comes down to it, if Banjo 1 and 2 were remade with PS3 level graphics, and a new Banjo Threeie came out exclusivly for PS3, I would have bought PS3 over 360.

ps3 had the advantage until Microsoft saw this and had a price cut. I also think the red rigs of death are a factor here. I know alot of people who bought a ps3 when there xbox was broken.
