ok i was stating the non similarities maybe i should have made my own thread about it, but still to say xbox 360 has all the exclusives? come on man really?

The problem with all these similarities is the fact that no console this gen is like the PS2, the only thing closed is the DS.

The Wii has a better chance to to be like the PS2, but 3rd party developers aren't helping. The 360 is what the PC used to be.

The PS3 really can't be explain, it has the capability of being amazing, but Sony killed any chance it had with the price.

Yes man really..

360 has been getting the Exclusives, whether it be Games, DLC, Arcade, or Timed (like GTA3 was on PS2)

So Final fantasy 13 being timed exclusive and versus 13 being solely exclusive means nothing? the new batman levels on darkham asylum where you get joker as an exclusive character , ninja gaiden 2 getting the co-op levels and timed exclusivity of ghostbusters, and that's just multiplatform games playstation 3 has load of exclusive,and then all the PSN games that are exclusive. So to say "Xbox 360 has all the exclusives" is really being narrow minded

Please elaborate were I said: "xbox 360 has all the exclusives" in the OP, or anywhere in this thread for that matter...

I'd say Xbox 360 is still the Xbox, PS3 is the gamecube, and Wii is the PS2.

in no way is the 360 even close to the ps2... the wii takes the cake.. in terms of anything the xbox 360 mab selling a little faster then the first xbox thats about it.

i agree with this... even tho M$ did try to change that but its still true. the top selling games are all shooters

I agree with what psrock said...no console this gen is like the PS2.

Both 360 and PS3 have lots of love from 3rd parties when it comes to most of their 'big important' games, just like the PS2 did....but the HD twins don´t have the sales and popularity the PS2 enjoyed.

The Wii has the sales and the popularity going for it, but unlike the PS2, it´s not getting as much 'quality love' from 3rd parties as the 6th gen king did.

So, how can people say the Wii (or the 360, like some people are saying) is "the new PS2"?...it´s not, it´s missing "the other half".
