Damn, I hate to buy games just for sympathy towards the developer ...
It is only 10 bucks. Hurry someone tell me a good reason to avoid this game.

*invents something*

It looks like a Capcom-made game. You know how you love them, eh? ;)

@ wfz: That avatar totally makes sense after what you just wrote!

You mean like Mega Man X 7 and Final Fight Streetwise? Thanks, I will avoid it at any cost.

Thats PC gamers!  Spend more on Hardware than actual software!

That is just depressing. I would kick these people square in the ass.

Microsoft could fix 50-60% of piracy on PC games.

Microsoft would be hated forever for it.

Tease.

Tell me how, Squilliam

Tell me so that I may write them a letter demanding it

I'm one of those people. Kick me!

Hahaha!

But I always buy the games I love, so all it has to do is sell me.

Man.

I wish that confessing to pirating games was a bannable offense.

I really do.

I wish people would learn to think for themself.

So many things we wish for, that are just impossible.

Microsoft controls Direct 3d, they work with the graphics vendors (AMD/Nvidia and later Intel) to install trusted computing modules in their graphics hardware. They can't control all of the piracy out there but by making it a complete PITA to do, only the most dedicated to not paying would actually do it.

You need graphics hardware to run pretty much any game out there, so thats the best place to use copy protection. If it gets cracked they can simply update the protection every time a new version of Direct X comes out.

That.... that's evil.

Kind of an awesome idea, though.
