It's amazing they reviewed Lair and Blue Dragon so poorly, and gave an old, rehashed turd like NCAA Football 08 a 8.5~9.0 when the mean score is under 80%.

In Blue Dragon's defense, I tend to think they don't like JRPGs too much at certain points, unless they are totally re-vamping the JRPG genre like Persona 3 is.

Dynasty Warriors Gundam got really atrocious scores too.

I frankly don't trust EGM. I don't know about Lair, but Blue Dragon was definitely better from just the demo. Surprised to see Strikers get a better score than both of them.

metacritic has Blue Dragon at 89, strikers at 77 and Lair not yet rated (one 1, and they want a minimum of 4 reviews to average).

By the way I agree with the Dienasty Warriors scores and think they should probably be lower that game is disgraceful. People were nitpicking the AI in HS, go play that game and see exactly what lack of AI means.
