Forums - Nintendo - Does the COD:W@W WII stack up well to COD4 on the PS3 (intence online)?

Hello Nintendo forums,

I have a brother who is addicted to coming over an using my PS3 to play COD4. I'd love to give him COD:W@W for the WII as a gift to get him out of my hair, but will it live up to the adrenaline he gets from COD4 in terms of action, control, intensity of the online experience only, since that is all he plays.

Does it require friend codes, are the lobbies easy to jump into games from, are their party systems and clan systems, is there voice chat?

EDIT: please specify if you have played W@W AND COD4.

Around the Network

It proabably wont be of the same quality.

I have the game, the online is fun, and you must be tacticly smart to win.
They have numerous options for private matches, perks, and experience levels.
It does search for players and fc's though, but it is very quick.
It is 8-person online, which is fun, because it gives a certain feel that you don't get with playing with like 16+ players.
There are vehicles, customizable weapon stock, and a military rank.

I give the online a 8/10, and the story mode and 8.25/10

Both are very fun for the wii.

The controls are probably the most customizeable controls yet, so he can set his own, they are very good.

Overall this is a MUST-GET game for the wii.

PS: Use compenent cables, and a plasma/hdtv, but if he does not have those, he should follow my advice below for the resolution of the TV.

Keep sharpness at about half, brightness a little less than half, color a little more than half, tint a very small amount above half, and contrast between half-way and full.
