Well it seams a lot of people have no clue this even exists. Understandable. Well check back for updates. Information is realllly hard to get on this and i can barely find stuff on it, but developers whenever asked do confirm it is in the works.

So far here is what we do know.

1. The game is going under the project name of "Rapture"

2. It will premeiring on the PS3, 360, and Vista OS.

3. It's made with Crystal Tools.

4. Same development team as FFXI

PS3, 360 and PC are getting this huge new MMORPG.

DS is getting FFCC:EoT and Wii is getting the DS port.

But I think it will do terribly as most of the previous FFXI versions, cause people aren't interested on these kinds of games from a dev who is known to make games of other genres. Heck, people are hardly interested in any SE game anymore.

you're talking to a guy getting a Square Soft tattoo next month. Sure they may not be the same as square enix, but i still have faith. FFXI was my favorite MMO not because of the name but because it was actually dificult just like the first MMOs. the community was tightly knit together.....i love things that actually bring people together and not make them solo the whole game like WoW. The Same development team of FFXI is making this so i have high hopes.

As long as it doesn't take up a FF number...FF11 should have been FFO.

Considering how greatly successfull FFXI was (and still is) it's obvious they are making new MMO game. I am not a fan of MMOs, but I have some interest in this one.

PS3, 360, PC.. good! more money for them to fuel my RPG needs, I trust they'll release something good soon.

We already know that the ps3 and pc versions will work together....question is wither Live will allow the 360 to play with PC. FFXI and fantasy star universe are only allowed to play on live alone while PC and ps2 can play together.

It seems kind of weird to be talking about this considering that they haven't done the "big reveal" yet...

it does....but im excited....And i figure best early and dig up as much as we can.
