HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I love the complexity of this. This is most definitely the most drama behind an elimination game that I've ever seen.
I'm saddened by the fact that I didn't get to be involved in the final voting (incredibly long day at work), but how ridiculous this became made it worth missing out on. I got to come home and read this mess.
I love you guys hahahaha.
Now, for a little final calculating. After figuring things out a bit, I am delighted to say the game is not over!
I went ALL the way back to the 29th and 30th pages, where the first problems first started arising. I found a chain of correct votes, then started following each valid vote from there.
First, Mario Kart was eliminated WELL before everybody finally agreed on it being eliminated. There were a TON of wasted votes. Too late now; moved on.
When Smeags eliminated Smash Bros, the proper scores should have been Mario at 4, Zelda at 7, and Metroid at 7.
Following from there, Soriku's vote was valid, making it 2 Mario, 8 Zelda, 6 Metroid.
Then, Mibuokami's vote, also valid, subtracted two from Mario, one from Metroid, and added one to Zelda. This effectively eliminated Mario from the game.
From here, things got really hairy. We should select this as the official point at which we would pick back up with Zelda at 9 and Metroid at 5.
However, just to demonstrate how much a mess it was until everybody finished, here's the remainder of the game, ignoring the votes for Mario since the ol' plumber was already eliminated.
Tanooki subtracted two from Metroid, putting it at 3. Zelda was subtracted one, putting it at 8.
Final Fan added to Metroid and subtracted two from Zelda, putting it at 4 Metroid, 6 Zelda.
Hayashi didn't count, so we're skipping that.
Ravado added to Metroid as well, also subtracting two from Zelda. This makes it 5-4, advantage Metroid.
alekth added to Zelda and subtracted one from Metroid, swapping it to 5-4 Zelda.
Mibuokami's next vote, not actually belonging since the first was actually valid, doesn't count.
BringBackChrono made it 6-3, Zelda.
Skeezer's next vote was out-of-place, being too early. Again. Guy must be REALLY antsy about the turnout or something.
At this point, everybody resigned to thinking the game was over and it became a tremendous mess (as if it wasn't already). The actual score here was 6 Zelda, 3 Metroid, with a TON of people having wasted turns on Mario even though it was actually already eliminated. Now, since so many of those were positive votes, those turns probably shouldn't count.
Therefore, we'd go back to when Mario was eliminated and cancel all votes after that.
If we were to take this as an official recount (which we should), and finish the game from here, we would set a new rule - you may NOW vote one time per day (with all clocks reset to the time of me posting this), and you may remove two votes from one franchise, as well as adding one vote to the other.
