Metal Gear Solid is a part of the Metal Gear series. Considering only two main-series titles released in the series without the "Solid" titling, you can hardly distinguish them from each other.

And I've stated a dozen times - franchises listed were selected based on sales and popularity. Every single franchise you just listed has minuscule sales in comparison with most the other series' included. And if their sales do compare, their level of popularity hardly does.

Honestly, now. I can't list every remote franchise that exists or else I'm going to be listing over three-hundred selections. I have to draw a line.

There actually has been, but the second release was a spinoff title, not a mainline part of the franchise, and it had poor sales. I didn't know about it.

Due to Killzone 2's incredible level of attention and increased popularity, though, the franchise's poor sales probably should've been overruled by its degree of popularity. As I said, I didn't know about the PSP title's existence.

Honestly I don't see how Metal Gear and Snake's Revenge are even comparable to the Solid series.

Granted they deal with the same charachter but still, there was so much evolution to the game for the Solid series that really they aren't very similar at all. I guess this argument could be made to a degree with a lot of franchisees but still.

Also I fail to see how any game that has sold over a million copies is miniscule.
King's Quest may be the only "obscure" title on that list. I don't think that was a fair or justified comment to make. KOF is fairly niche, yet if you consider SNK vs. Capcom CHaos and Capcom vs. SNK 1 and 2.. then it should be more viable.
