If the game companies cared enough about broken street dates to do something about it, they'd just offer $50 for evidence of a game being sold early. I'm sure every gamer would love to get a free copy of their game by simply providing a receipt that shows the product was sold early, and $50 isn't much to pay when you're dinging the culprit for $10,000.
