Play it on The boss extreme. Youll die after 2-3 gun shots and u can only max have 3 rations.

As for the story, I belive this game really opend to new people. Megaman here never played any others apparantly NEITHER DID i. But it was so FREAKING awesome and epic the cutscenes the ingame play it was like a solid heros end and it made me burst into tears it was just brilliant and REALLY deliverd. I was like meh lets get the game due to all hype. IGN rated it 10/10 ( Which is the site i go after becuse theyre ratings are what i mostly agree too ) It was so good they even stated a 11/10 if possible ( Which made me even like them more becuse i agreed XD ).

Ive gotten MGS1-2-3 (From ebay). I won 1 it was AWESOME too :D, On 2 atm its fun but i think i like Snake a bit more XD. Yet to play MGS3. But MGS4 remains the best simply becuse of the epicness of you playing a die hard legend hero that without playing ANY other game u can see he has been going threw hell, and on the last fight

Where u fight liqiud, i probably cried my eyes off. Thinking of the entire game and now im standing here getting raped XD praying that i can play. AND I CAN! Man i love MGS and i love Kojima and i love MGS4!. Thank god for the Internet for all hype it made me play the best game of my life. SCREW Starwars, MGS all the way!

Ok my cryfull moments =

Act 3 Racing Part = Was Pure Ownage I Thought It Was Sooo Epic XD I Got Caught In The Moment, didnt cry though.

Act 4 Metal Gear = Was even more ownage i was like AWMAGAWD IM EPIC!! MOVE TINY GEEKOS PAYBACK TIME XD. And where snake runs after liqiud and liqiud is coming towards him, i cried when snake was bleeding. Then Raiden comes to the rescue and he dies and i cried even MORE.

Act 5 = Last fight and microwave chamber = My eyes popped out.

It was an outstanding game! The best of my LIFE & I really hope for it to become the best of this gen. Dont take it as i havent played any other game. I only OWN a PS3, but ive played Gears 2 for instance, SMG, SSBB ( Snake there owns XD ), Halo 3 , GTA IV etc.. But this was too emotional even for me. I loved it :')))). ( And truth be told i never liked GTA nor Mario i only think of pizza when i see him and cant say much for gears then that the gameplay is fun :) )

Anyway i loved it and im happy for the rest that did too. If u cant bother watching any Cutscenes dont get the game. If u like me have never played a MGS game, And go like meh i can watch cutscenes whats the big issue? its not like ive watched alot of cutscenes before! THEN GET IT AND DO IT you hopefully wont be dissapointed. IF ur a MGS fan get it, play it, stfu and dont say it was a dissapointment to other MGSes XD. The story ended either u like it or you dont :D. I didnt like how Matrix ended but oh well it was a awesome movie still.

And as for Kojima, I dont think he will make a MGS5. The development of Metal Gear will continue. Now i dont know if Kojima is in or not but metal gear SOLID has ended. I doubt there will be a Existence or what ever, And even if it will be maby a DLC(Which i wish for becuse id buy it instantly).

And YOU, The guy that played the Demo, GET THE GAME youll love it XD.

Fallout 3 looks better than this game to me.

Honestly, I'm about ready to put that game as #1 this gen. MGS4 is good though, and it's a technicale masterpiece no doubt.

Yes, I know I post everytime someone touts Fallout 3, but YES! I LOOOOOVE Fallout 3, lol. It's my GotY, without a second though.

Meh, MGS4 is a great game. But greatest game this generation? Nope. I personally like fallout 3 and gears 2 better already. There are others i'd rate at about the same level as mgs4. Not to mention, there are a ton of games that will be released later that i'm sure will be better. For example, FF13 may well be one of those.

I love my PS3, I love Mgs4. Not the stand out game of the series but still a stellar game. but why when megaman2 comments on anything do i feel the very thing he/she claims to defend is cheapened.

Of course that is said with most people who hate good games. Now, if only I can find that Super Paper Mario quote :P

Anyways, I never said it wasn't great, I'm just saying it's over rated and not my favourite.
I own the game, just don't give it as much praise as most fans do.

Before MGS4 I'd only played the first MGS that came to the PS, I can barely remember it it was so long ago.
Never played it again until MGS4 and wow what a game.
Its better than Uncharted imo. *ahem*let me clarify that MGS4 is better than Uncharted IN MY OPINION.
I was absolutely spellbound from the first time those wierd TV channels show up at the start of the game until I saves the game complete file at the end. then I played it through again. Simply amazing.
If you've never seen the fashion shoot with the B&B, play it again, it's so funny.

Anyway, why do these types of "debates" always remind me of the people who hate on FFXII?

How is MGS4 badly written ? I honestly have never played a game with a better script and a more natural evolution of contexts. Is that called slow nowadays ...if in the first 2 minutes you don't cut off 3 limbs and blow up 3 heads ?

I played Oblivion, Mass Effect, Fallout 3 (as well as pretty much every game released in recent years) and i find them mediocre at best in comparison to MGS4's writing and development.

There's your problem. You played games that have TERRIBLE writing (ME has decent writing at times though). You want to see good writing? Play Planescape Torment, Mask of the Betrayer, Fallout 1 & 2, Vampire the Masquerade - Blodlines, Deus Ex, Grim Fandango, The Witcher Enhanced Edition, Sam & Max, Myst games, etc...

MGS4 has a convoluted story, mostly due to Kojima's lack of writing talent.  MGS1 had a far more consistent story because it didn't get stuck on high morals, twists and turns (though the recessive/dominant genes stuff was a AAA-class blunder from Kojima)
