personally you don't need to convince me if the game will flop or not as I never have owned a animal crossing game, purely cause the name itself made the game not appeal to me. the only thing I might buy it for is wii speak if you cant get it seperately.

It will probably get low scores, but it sure won't flop. Animal Crossing is even in the Famitsu most wanted top 20 list and games like Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart haven't really been in that list. Nuff said ey? If a game hits a hardcore list it says enough about what hardcore as well casual gamers will do... right, buying the game. Plus the option of WII Speak, its no question about it this game will be Nintendo's next million seller, no matter how good, or bad it is.

Oh, I dunno, I think the public will see through this charade and not buy the exact same game for the third time in a row. If this game sells 250,000 copies worldwide, I will be bitterly disappointed in humanity.

i'm really confused how you could make this comment right now.  did you not know that animal crossing was out and had sold so much already.  and based on the nintendo figures for hours played seems to be quite hardcore

i wouldn't call 3 million a flop, and it's gonna reach 5 or more one day!

Animal Crossing is one of my favourite Wii games, sure it could have been improved a lot (but stupid Nintendo did not wanted to throw away their Ds-Wii connection but wanted it like GBA-GC was)

but still the game has such a personality, it's so unique, Animal Crossing rocks!
