Forums - Gaming - LittleBigPlanet's (LAG) is HUGE

I have 8 meg cable. I've played sometimes and it'll be perfect, no lag whatsoever. Other times I get on it's totally unplayable. I haven't played much this last weeks (due to Gears) but it seemed almost like a crapshoot whenever I logged on.

Other than the servers issues (which I'm sure will be fixed) the game is awesome.

Let's hope for a future fix....

4 ≈ One

I've had a few problems, but the vast majority of the time, it's worked great for me. I just get really bad lag when I play with 4 people, and that doesn't last for too terribly long.

I have truly crappy internet here at Uni. Sometimes, it takes me ages just to load up the Google homepage, and wikipedia just won't load up at all on some days.

And yet, even with this uber crap internet, I can do two player LBP games online with minimal lag. If I were playing at home, rather than with this crappy Uni internet connection, I could probably play with another three people online lag free.

*shrugs*

Thats odd, I have had no issues. There looks like lag when you first get in, but it is for a split second and then everything is smooth. The game is amazing

Around the Network

I've played with friends online and I've played the play now option quite a few times. I've experianced major lag about twice only. That's not good, but it by no means is awful either considering the times I've played. I believe it really depends on your hosts connection. I've not once had lag as host. I believe both times I suffered major lag was with the play now option. But anyone complaining that this game isn't worth it because of the server issues, well, I'm glad they won't be playing this game because they don't deserve it. This game has so much packed into it that you have more than enough to keep you busy until all the lag problems are fixed but honestly, it's not that hard to find a room without lag either. Either way, there is a full campaign to beat with hundreds and hundreds of collectibles to find, countless hours that can be spent tapping your own imagination and creating a level, many user created levels to play with more going up constantly and some really amazing ones at that and local coop which I've done plenty of and it is a blast!
