LOL @ Ron Paul
All I had to do was direct his supporters to his own website and they changed their minds about him pretty quickly.

I supported Ron Paul in the Republican primaries, but he is simply too old to run in 2012. He would be 77 years old in 2012.
Ron Paul had quite a few good ideas, and I agreed with him more than any other of the Republican candidates. But, nothing against Libertarians, he was taking a good principle too far. But I am a firm believer that both the Democrats and the Republicans could learn from the Libertarians.
But what is up with Ron Paul being against gay marriage? The gays weren't catching a break from anyone this election.
We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke
It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...." Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson
I'd say the only bright side for gays in this election was Sarah Palin. I'm sure there's plenty a drag queen sporting a Palin look now.
I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Akuma, about the gay marriage thing. People need some kind of minority to hate right?

Gay is the new black.

Ron Paul's position towards homosexuality and gay marriage is complex. I hoped he would support it outright, but he is beholden to the belief that government should not be involved in the business of marriage. He then mixes that with a strong dose of federalism...and you have a mess. I shared his views on many issues, but this is an issue on which our stances diverge.
Ron Paul was actually the candidate I'd most like to have a beer with, but I didn't vote for him and I don't even like beer. I think he and the Kooch were both shafted a little too harshly by the media. Thanks to the internet these goons are getting more exposure than ever before, which is good for everybody.
I honestly love Kucinich though. Thing is you know right off the bat hes not... bland... enough to get the majority of votes to become president.
