Ron Paul's position towards homosexuality and gay marriage is complex. I hoped he would support it outright, but he is beholden to the belief that government should not be involved in the business of marriage. He then mixes that with a strong dose of federalism...and you have a mess. I shared his views on many issues, but this is an issue on which our stances diverge.
