Nintendos. As always, that'll properbly be my only launch system.
When Nintento go HD the difference between it and the high end consoles will be almost negligible and as long as they keep producing core titles like Mario, Metroid, Zelda, Mario Kart, etc then I'm sure I'll get one.
As for MS/Sony, who knows they'll probably be effectively the same console with even more of the same games next gen. Only real difference will be the controller.
Never argue with idiots
They bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience
Whoever has the games I like. Basically that's between Sony and Microsoft.
well if I'm still alive then for me it will be the next PlayStation, THEN Nintendo's new system. and there's no way in hell I'm buying another MS console.

The Microsoft console AND the Sony console.
Sorry Nintendo, I don't need you anymore.
i've gone nintendo first day purchase since the n64 which was the first gen i was old enough to be able to afford a console with my own money (waiting for my parents to get me a snes for xmas was terrible!). anyway, this gen i'll probably not get an hd console till near the end of the gen so that way i can try a new wait and see approach and maybe wait a year or so into the next gen while playing having a brand new library of games from this gen to play. but as long as nintendo doesn't do something terrible, like not improve online and 3rd party support next gen i'm sure i'll go with them as my main console like always. i couldn't imagine getting a next gen system and not being able to play the new mario, zelda, mario kart, etc.
end of '08 predictions: wii - 43 million, 360 - 25 million, ps3 - 20 million
Games I've beat recently: Super Mario Galaxy, Knights of the Old Republic, Shadow of the Collossus
Proud owner of wii, gamecube, xbox, ps2, dreamcast, n64, snes, genesis, 3DO, nes, atari, intellivision, unisonic tournament 2000, and gameboy
Nintendo's. It won't break and it's guaranteed to have games I want that won't be on other systems.
