vizunary said: @maverick hunter z, ckmlb has both a 360 and PS3 you realize, right? calling him whatever version of sony fanboy you used is idiotic, stating his opinion is different than blindly talking smack. I agree with his idea, b/c I have a PS3 and I'm sure as hell not gonna buy a 360 for DLC on one game. |
And when did I ever call him a "Sony fanboy" of any kind? If you'd like to have a mature and mannered debate then I'd kindly ask you to stop making shit up. Also perhaps you'd like to explain how owning both consoles makes a person any less biased towards one or another, last time I check fanboyism isn't gauged on console ownership, its gauged on behavior and mentality. There's not a single person I know that owns more than one console that doesn't in some way prefer or support one of them over the other(s).
But let's say you're right, for the sake or argument, I guess that means I can never be called a fanboy or said to favor one console over another because I have all three (trust me, if my brother didn't already own one I can garantee you I would have bought a PS3 myself, I'm not passing up FFXIII). So using your argument, I'm perfectly unbiased and my words will always be those of someone who has room to talk. How convenient for me or anyone else with the money to burn.
What's silly though, fanboyism or not, is saying hardly anyone is going to know about the exclusive content for the 360 version of GTA when its only been the biggest story in gaming since E3. Every gaming journal and magazine basically known to man has made some mention of it if not given it its own article. Microsoft spent 50 million dollars for exclusive content, whether that's a good thing or bad, that's something people are going to hear about.

Things that have changed since the last Generation of Gaming:
- Nintendo has shown us you can have the best selling console of all time with virtually no games for it.
- Graphics suddenly matter to Sony fans but Reverse Compatibility and Dual shock oddly enough don’t.
- Kiddy Crap is trendy with Hardcore gamers now that it’s no longer Nintendo’s “thing” (Viva Piñata, Little Big Planet, Banjo Kazooie 3, LBP)
- Third Party Developers are now essentially the equivalent of Video Game street pimps.
- Gimmicks are no longer fads (Wii-mote)... Well, not all Gimmicks (PS-Eye)
